この日は浅草・本所吾妻橋周辺へ。
浅草でシフォンケーキと言えば「otaco」さんをおもいうかべますが、
実はもう1店、手作りのシフォンケーキが名物のお店があるんです。
それがコチラ「気ままなキッチン」さん。
かっぱ橋道具街の近くにあるお店です。
「otaco」さんはテイクアウトのみですが、
コチラはカフェも兼任してるので、店内で頂こうと推参。
お店は白い外観で……正直あんまカフェっぽくは無いです。
遠巻きに見ると何かの倉庫か事務所みたいな……。
しかして、近くに寄ると「シフォンケーキ」ののぼりが出てるのを発見。
特にお店の名前とか、看板が出てる訳じゃあ無いので、こいつが無いと気付かないですね。
お店は入口……と思われる箇所が複数ありますが、国際通り側の入口が正解かな？
シフォンケーキのショーケースもそっち側にあるし。
中では常連と思われる女性と、ご店主が談笑されてました。
こーゆーケースだと「何か来た」みたいな微妙な雰囲気になる事がありますが……。
異物扱いされる事無く、暖かく迎えて下さってホッと。
カフェスペースは広く「おうちの一室」的で居心地が良いです。
メニューは目的のシフォンケーキ以外には、パスタのランチセットも。
私はやっぱりシフォンケーキ一択ですが。

本当は1プレートにシフォンケーキ1つ……ですが、
余っているのがある……との事で、3種類のプレートにして頂けました。
余りなので形が色々なのはご愛敬ですね。
ベーキングパウダー不使用のシフォンケーキで自然な甘さ。
ほわほわしていて家庭的な優しい甘さです。
生クリームもいつもよりプラスして貰っちゃいました。やったぜ。
更には焼き立てのシフォンの切れ端も頂けるとゆー。
普通のシフォンとは全く違う食感で驚きー。
カリカリしていて、シフォンケーキとは思えない。温かいし。
生クリームのサービス・更には出来立てまで……。超サービス良いです！
暖かみのある、優しさに満ち溢れたカフェ。心も温まります。
ごちそうさまでした！
