ひさしぶりに浅草で友人と昼から飲むことにしました。土曜日の浅草を想定すると、大陸からのインバウンドがたくさんやってきることを想定。おとなしく並ぶということはあまり期待できないから、まずは何処か予約しておくことにしました。日本酒も楽しめて清潔感があるということから浅草駅出口と雷門の間にある通りからすぐのところにあるこちらのお店を選びました。
13時に予約に予約して入店。すると外国人相手に流暢な英語で接客している店員さんがいらっしゃいました。店員さんに目配せして、接客が終わるまで待つことにました。先ほどのお客さんの注文が終わったあと、その店員さんから、「お待たせして申し訳ありません」とありました。
「いやいや、集中して聞かないと間違えがあると大変だからね」昔、ホテルのラウンジでインバウンドのお客様からオーダーを苦労しながらとっていた自分の姿に重なりました。
カウンターの奥の広いスペースに案内してもらいました。カウンターには若い女性のグループが数組。接客しているのも若い女性店員さんでした。
予約をすると日本酒を含めたファーストドリンクは無料でした。新政をお願いしたところ残念なことに品切れ。そこでお店から他のもので対応してもらい、播州をいただいて乾杯。シュワシュワ感がたまりません。お通しは玉子豆腐でした。(450円)
料理は及第さんが天敵のQRコードからというシステム。枝豆、おでん盛り合わせ、串焼き、焼き鳥のセットなどを注文。ボリューム、味ともに想定したレベルは十分クリア。お通しはややスモールでしたが、おでんは2人で十分なボリューム。焼き鳥は塩でいただきました。７本ありました。
45分1100円という飲み放題もありましたが、今回は、お酒は瓶ビール(スーパードライ中瓶650円)にシフト。ふたりで3本飲みました。だいたい、90分くらい過ごして会計。ふたりで、6800円くらい。飲み放題ではありませんでしたが、十分楽しめました。
