今まで焼き鳥はお酒のアテのイメージしかなく、夕食としてはふさわしくないと思っており自分の周りもそう思っていたため訪れる機会も本当に少なく、せっかく東京へ来たからにはそのイメージを覆す焼き鳥屋さんを訪れようとして、調べてみたところ、一本のボリュームがそこそこある西口やきとんさんを利用させていただきました。
焼き鳥屋さんは土日祝日お休みのところが多い中、ここは基本的に年中無休だそうですね。
ゴールデンウィーク後半祝日初日で１８時予約しましたが、３０分前に着いてしまい、椅子ありか立ち飲みか聞かれましたが、ゆっくり食事をいただきたかったので椅子ありでお願いしました。
準備されて2〜３分後に着席。この段階では半分くらいの入りでした。着席してすぐに、タン串、つくね串、ハラミ串、マカロニサラダ、皿なんこつ丼とウーロン茶を頼み、これらが来た後にウィンナー串、フランスパン、黒豚ロースを追加注文しました。もちろんウーロン茶が最初に来たのですが、写真の通りめいいっぱいに注がれて、しかも氷で誤魔化してないところに第一印象良しです。
料理についてはどれも食べ応えのあるものばかりで、しかも同じ量では今まで行った他店では5割り増しくらいの感じです。
⚫︎１４９円串
タン、つくね、ウィンナー、フランスパンの４つですが、この中ではつくねがダントツ美味しかったです。肉汁が出るタイプではないですが旨みが炭焼きでぎゅっと閉じ込められた感じです。フランスパンはソフトフランスで薄く塩胡椒がついていますがウィンナーと合わせて食べると美味しいです。

ハラミを食べました。歯応えしっかりで結構重かったです。

黒豚ロースをいただきました。さすが１番高いだけあって、旨みも食べ応えも1番でした！
頼んで損はないと思います。
⚫︎皿なんこつ丼(５９８円)
これ、面白いですね！牛すじ肉の鳥版みたいな感じで、たっぷりと入っていました。
からしが添えられていました。タレもかかっていますが、少しなのでテーブルにある調味料で整えるのもありでしょう。
頼んで正解ですが、1人では多いかもしれません。
⚫︎マカロニサラダ(２６６円)
箸休めに良いですね。丼もの頼んだら不要かも。これも1人では多すぎでハーフサイズでいいかも。
これだけ食べて２１９０円でした。もう十分堪能しました。でもまた行きたいですね。
