蔵前に新規オーペンしたスリランカ料理屋さんを堪能した後、せっかく久しぶりに蔵前に来たので軽くもう一杯飲めるところがないかと検索したら、ここに行きついた。
清澄白河に2年ほど住んでいたので、蔵前にはアンビカ＝スパイス屋にたまに行っていたが、こんな洒落たとこにはくるわけもなく。
１Fも系列のようだが、２Fのほうに上がる。
テラス席はほぼ満席でカップル、女子会、男女飲みとめいめい楽しんでいる。
川幅の大きな隅田川、その水面に反映するビルの光、近そうで遠いライトアップされたスカイツリー、中々いい景色が広がっている。
テーブルはこたつのようになっていて、足元はヒーターが暖めてくれるので今の季節でも全然問題ない。酔った顔に涼しい風が逆に心地よい。
メニューを見ると、創作中華のようだが、既に2軒目のため、クイックメニュー的なものだけ。
クリームチーズとカマンベールチーズの紹興酒漬け、きゅうりのからし和え。
それに七賢などの冷酒。
ゆったりとした時間が流れる。
今は歌舞伎町、高田馬場あたりで飲むことが多いのでこういうところまで来てゆっくり飲むの悪くないなと感慨にふけっていたら、雨がぽつぽつ。
周りの皆が店員に促されるままに店内に避難。
僕も聞かれたが、「いや、限界まで我慢します」と余裕をこいた1分後にスコール的な雨がきて速攻避難した。
我ながらかっこわるい。
たまに友人と浅草飲みをやるのでホッピー通りでわいわいがやがやな飲みを楽しんだのち、ここに来てクールダウンというパターンはとてもありだと思う。
勿論、このギャップ作戦は女子に対しても有効だろう。
