JR鶯谷駅の南口から歩いて5分ほどの路地裏ににひっそりと佇む『鍵屋』。
酒屋としての創業が1856年（安政3年）で、昭和初期から店の一角で角打ちを始めた、東京最古の老舗の大衆酒場である。
大正元年に建てられた古民家の建物は、ノスタルジーを感じ、江戸時代にでもタイムスリップしてきたかのような店内には、楓のカウンター席が8席と小上がりの座敷席がある。
連日、17時の開店前から常連客が並びだし、開店と同時に満席になってしまう人気ぶりである。
今夜は以前前から行きたかった『鍵屋』を訪問し、静かに杯を傾けた。

◉お店には大衆酒場として少し変わったルールがあり、女性だけの入店はNG。男性が1人いれば入れる。
『鍵屋』の暖簾を潜り店内に入ると、哀愁漂うノスタルジックな空間が、酒場好きには堪らない雰囲気を漂わせている。
女将さんが炭火で丁寧に焼くとり焼きも美味かった。
