鶯谷駅の近くの言問通りを渡った側にある中華料理店「鴻福餃子酒場(こうふくぎょうざさかば)」、平日の12時過ぎに初訪問。店内は4人掛けテーブル席を中心に席数が多め。
餃子のテイクアウトもやっている。11:00〜15:00は、ランチメニューがあり、焼餃子や水餃子など餃子中心のセットのほか、麻婆豆腐など定番中華メニューに、担々麺や刀削麺、焼きそばなどの麺類、麻婆丼やエビチャーハンなどの飯類に分かれている。
それぞれに、餃子付きや半ラーメン付きなど付け足すこともできる。だいたいが800円〜1,000円の価格帯。今回はしそ焼餃子のセットにしてみる。
・しそ焼餃子セット 大盛(8個) 1,000円
写真には、麻婆豆腐が付いていてお得だと思ったものの、注文時に麻婆豆腐は無いからサラダになるね、と言われる。待つこと10分くらいで提供あり。
餃子のお皿がトレイからはみ出て来る、餃子は見た感じから相当なジャンボサイズ。所狭しとライス、スープ、キムチ、サラダ、杏仁が並ぶ。卓上の醤油、お酢、辣油でタレを作り食べてみる。
厚めでモチっとした食感の皮で、中の餡もドッシリと入っていて、ややニンニクも入り、食の進む食べ応えのある餃子、6個でも十分かなと思える量感。シソが少しさっぱり感を出してくれ良いアクセント。
動くのがちょっとキツイくらいお腹が満たされ、想像以上に満足できた。お支払いには、PayPayなどQRコード決済や電子マネーが使える。
お昼の他の定食も食べてみたいし、2時間ノミホ付きで料理11品で3,150円なる鴻コースや、料理110種類の食べ飲み放題3,680円も気になるし、90分で餃子食べ放題1,680円の餃子パーティーも楽しそうだし、昼夜を問わずまた来よう。
