I visited just before 12 o'clock on a certain day in September 2019. ``Toyama'' is a soba restaurant located about 2-3 minutes walk from Nippori Station. Open the door at the bottom of the basement and enter the store. There were 7 or 8 customers in the not-so-large store. Sit alone at a table. The customer service from the hospitable female clerk is very pleasant. I ordered the "Negitorodon Set (Mori Soba)" from the lunch menu for ¥1,300. It takes about 7 or 8 minutes to be served. The green onion bowl looks quite beautiful. You can see that the tuna meat is used properly, rather than the green onion, which is made with strange mixtures. The Negi-Toro-don is finished with a flavor that conveys the taste of the tuna directly. I would like a little more volume. Mori soba is also of good quality. Place the soup in a separate plate and enjoy the soba noodles with green onions and wasabi. The balance between thin noodles and rich soup is Edo-style. People may not like the strong taste of the Tokyo-style soup, but the quality of Mori Soba is quite high. It's also delicious when you pair the soup with green onion rice bowl. The mori soba is delicious, but it's also lacking in volume. A combination of delicious soba and green onion bowl for 1,300 yen. I can't deny that it gives a great impression. The taste is excellent, so I think it would be nice if it had a little more filling.
