In Matsuko's Unknown World, DEEN's vocalist Shuichi Ikemori introduced the world of soba. As I was watching this, I started wanting to eat Inaka Soba, so I searched for a restaurant where I could eat Inaka Soba the next day and went there for lunch. Here, there are seasonal soba noodles such as yuzu, cherry blossom, shiso, plum, matcha, and poppy seeds, and there are also soba noodles that can be enjoyed depending on the season. There are attractive two-color and three-color soba dishes that allow you to enjoy both seasonal soba and country soba, but I also saw curry soba introduced on TV, so I was curious about the curry that was on the early summer limited menu. It's gone. That's also "black sesame curry dipping sauce", ma'am. I'm really curious, aren't I? (lol) I heard that you can make soba into country soba, so I decided on black sesame curry dipping sauce! ︎ The dipping sauce contains a lot of black sesame seeds, and at first glance, it's so dark that you wouldn't think it was curry. The soba noodles are also dark in color, typical of country soba noodles. When you first take a bite of the soba noodles, you can enjoy the strong taste of the soba noodles. And then to the dipping sauce. The dipping sauce is light and doesn't stick to the noodles, but you can enjoy the curry with a distinct black sesame flavor. It's completely different from the curry soba you get at a typical soba restaurant. It has fried eggplant, two okra pieces, and lots of pork, so you can enjoy the ingredients as well. There were soba shiratama zenzai, soba ice cream, soba tea jelly, and other sweet flavors typical of a soba restaurant. I'd like to try the sweet flavor next time.
