I visited after 8pm on a certain day in July 2020. Foods Bar is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located about 2 minutes walk from Nippori Station. There were about 7 or 8 customers in the reasonably sized store. I sat by myself at a large table for single customers and ordered ``Chuu Nama'' for ¥480. Sapporo Black Label draft beer. Otoshi is boiled konnyaku and root vegetables. The seasoning is a little strong. I don't feel that hungry, so I decide to grab a few snacks and have a drink. Broiled liver sashimi ¥550: ``broiled liver sashimi'' seems to be the recommended menu of this restaurant. It's nice to be able to eat free-range chicken liver with sashimi. It's a smaller amount than I expected, but the taste is good. The searing was just right. Sardine Namerou ¥550: The freshness of the sardines at this restaurant is very normal. The quality of trying to lick it is not good. I wonder if it's the weakness of seasoning and odor removal. It's not inedible, but I would like to eat something a little fresher and more delicious. Enjoy ``Fujisai'' with water for ¥450. Namero goes well with potato shochu. I decided to have a quick drink and eat and go home. Although it is an easy-to-use Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with an extensive menu, the hospitality is a bit lacking. I wonder if this is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) run by people who aren't cut out to serve customers. The store lacked a sense of comfort. It might just be a coincidence, so I'd like to take revenge someday.
