日暮里に所用で立ち寄った折、駅直近のビルの３階にネパール料理を見つけて入店。
一歩店に立ち入ると日本ではないような錯覚を覚える。フロアには気取りのないテーブルと椅子が所狭しと並び、壁にはネパール国旗をはじめ、ローカルな雰囲気満載の飾り付けが施されている。幅広で雑然としたキッチンもなんかいい感じ。スタッフは…みんな現地の人かな。
ランチセットが提供されている。値段は700円台〜1000円台前半と幅広い。注文したのはほうれん草とチキンのカレー（850円）ナンまたはライス、サラダにドリンクがつく。
ナンは300円でグレードアップしてチーズナンに変更。
カレーの辛さは５段階から選べるので自分の舌と相談しよう。
味は…特に可もなく不可もなくという感じだが、何だろう、この店の現地っぽい雰囲気が妙に気に入ってしまった。ネパール料理というより、ネパール気分を味わったと言ってもいいかも知れない。それだけでもいい店見つけたという気分になれるものだ。
