2020年3月某日の12時過ぎに訪ねた。
西日暮里駅を出て徒歩2分ほどの場所にある焼肉、ホルモンの店「縁 西日暮里店」。
長細い店内は7割方客で埋まっていた。
テーブル席に1人で座る。
ランチメニューから「ユッケジャン定食」¥700を注文。
最初にジョッキに入ったウーロン茶がやって来る。
思ったよりも盛況だったので、注文してから提供まで12,3分ほど待つ。
ユッケジャンスープ、ライス、サラダの組み合わせ。
サラダはパサついた感じで、ドレッシングは妙な甘さであまり美味しいとは言い難い。
ユッケジャンスープはかなり薄い。牛のダシはほんのり効いている程度。本来あるべき濃さのスープを薄めたような一品。具材の質もイマイチ。
ボリュームはそれなりにあるが、スープ、ライス、サラダという組み合わせに物足りなさはある。キムチなどが付いてくるとバランスは取れるような気がする。
700円という値段なりのユッケジャン定食と言えるかもしれない。この店では、ランチには焼肉定食を頼んだ方が良いだろう。
