I was walking around Yanaka during the day on a weekday, and after buying Bagels at [a:13258663, Fuku Bagels], I bought Yanaka minced meat at [a:13008470, Sato Meat], which I had with a beer. There were only a few stores open, so I was wondering what to go to next. Well, there's good news for anyone with such worries. My companion (AP) suggested this cafe. It's self-service with advance payment, and they have a huge selection of beers from around the world. You take your favourite beer from the refrigerated case and pay at the counter, and of course it can be used as Coffee shops too. I pay for a Spanish omelette (350 yen) and a German Jever (650 yen) with a cashier, and take my beer to my table. All I remember is that the beer had a bitter taste. The Spanish omelette had potatoes in it, so it didn't look like an omelette at all. I guess that's how it's shaped, but it feels more like a quiche. I drink my beer while eating the fish and chips ordered by my companion (AP). Next we had Hitachi's Nest IPA. I bought an IPA thinking it would be bitter, but it was fruity. I drank the two small bottles of beer over the course of an hour, took a leisurely rest, and regained my strength. The real action was yet to come.
