32 years in both countries. A bar where you can eat and feel America from the 60s and 70s! We also have rare alcoholic beverages and our signature taco rice ◎
A bar with a 60's-70's American vibe, decorated with movie posters and retro goods that would appeal to enthusiasts. The nostalgic and warm atmosphere will definitely make you fall in love! I like the |
Dinner at ``Paper Moon'' in the Ishihara area of Ryogoku. It's a shop I've been interested in for a while, so I stopped by on a whim this evening. We sat at the counter and started with a Hawaiian Kona beer. Enjoy a fun conversation with the friendly master. The dishes I ordered were the famous taco rice, Hawaiian Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), and fried gyoza with spicy sweet and sour sauce. The taco rice is full of volume, and the spicy meat and cheese intertwine, making the rice even more delicious! Hawaiian Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) is full of green onions and topped with kamaboko. Fried Gyoza / Dumpling goes great with alcohol when served with vegetables! We have a wide variety of shochu, and you can enjoy a variety of rare sweet potato shochu. I was asked how many glasses I could have, and I recommended Yamabo, Yahata, and Beautiful Murasaki. I received all of them on lock. Inside the store, you can enjoy 70's music with a 70's American taste. The master used to be a band member and was involved in fusion music, so I asked him to listen to some of his recordings from that time. Additionally, due to the location's close proximity to both countries, sumo fans often visit the store. The master is also close friends with a certain former famous sumo wrestler, and has apparently visited his shop as well. Paper Moon has delicious food and rare shochu. I also liked the fact that I was able to have fun conversations with the master. I would like to visit you again on a regular basis. #Paper Moon #Ryogoku Gourmet #Ryogoku Lunch #Ryogoku Dinner #Ryogoku Bar #Ryogoku Izakaya #Hawaiian Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) #Taco Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) #Ishihara, Sumida Ward
