ここは依然
上亀という居酒屋でした。しばらくして息子さんが日曜昼のみに南インド料理を提供するようになって
口コミが口コミを呼び結構繁盛していたのですが、その後フェードアウト。
今はカリフォルニア料理？を提供するピジョンというお店に生まれ変わりました。
カリフォルニア料理ねえ・・・・。
新大橋通り添い、ちょいと目立つファサードで
看板メニューを見てみるとポキ丼だのタコライスやブリトーなんかを提供しています。
以前のお店と中身は変わりませんね。手前にテーブル席、奥にカウンター席に厨房。
空いているテーブル席に案内されて座ります。
先客はファミリー１組と男性１名。ファミリー層向けの内装です。
店主イチオシらしいチリソーセージをライス大で注文です。
価格はどれもこれも880円でサラダとスープとアイスティーが付きます。
珍しいことにドリンクは１択しかありません。
ですので直ぐにアイスティーとスープが提供されました。
スープはキャベツや豆やズッキーニなんかが入ったミネストローネ風。薄味で体に優しそうな感じ。
チリソーセージはポテトサラダや葉っぱサラダと一緒にワンプレートで提供です。
ポテサラはジャガイモが粗目の自家製風。燻製風味を感じる美味しいポテサラです。
チリソーセージはどんなものかなと思いきや何てことはない。ただのタコライスにフランクフルトソーセージがデーンと鎮座してあるだけ。
うーんこれならブリトーの方が良かったかも。
味は想像通りの味。ひき肉と豆にチリパウダーですからわかるでしょ。
仕上げにチーズでまあこんなもんかと。
葉っぱサラダも普通だし。一番良かったのはポテトサラダくらいかなあ。
一番気になったのは、店内で焼かれるロティサリーチキンでしょうか。
焼き上がり40分かかるそうなので、予約して取りに行こうと思いました。
