京成沿線の自宅からよく行っていた堀切菖蒲園のもつ焼きのんきのしt連が錦糸町にできていて、
初訪問。用件が早く終わり、早くから開いてる此方へ。
名物しろたれ＠220が半額サービスとのことで、シロタレ5本、カシラ@170も2本注文。芋のソーダ割でスタート、突き出しのキャベツをつまみながら猛暑日の冷たいハイボールが美味しい。
まずはカシラ塩から登場。食べやすくおいしい。暫くしてシロタレがまず3本。ぎょっとしたのは見ただけでわかるほどの焦げ焦げ。のんきの甘いタレだからある程度の焦げはおいしいのだが、白モツの味も歯ごたえも感じられないくらい焦げの味しかしなかった。芋ロックをお代わりして、後から出てきた残り2本はそれほどは焦げていなかったから、最初の3本は焼きの兄ちゃんの失敗作なんだろうなあ。写真でもわかるでしょうが、裏側はさらに全面真っ黒こげでした。
おやつ代わりの軽い3時呑みだったので再挑戦してもう一度確認するか、やっぱり本店じゃないとだめなのか？店員さんたちの感じは良かっただけに、悩ましい思いです。
