江戸川区は平井にある、30周年を迎えた老舗のフレンチ。お隣はカラオケスナックで、庶民的なエリアにある町フレです。しかし、お味は本格派。
まず、最も印象的だったお肉のお話をさせてください。まるでお水のように、滑らかで柔らかい和牛フィレでした。こんなお肉は初めてで、これだけでも食べに行く価値があります。ジビエが有名なようですが、牛もさすがです。
他に印象深かったのは、チーズの入ったグジェールというパン。ブラジルのポンデケージョみたいで、お酒が進む味。自然と「美味しいね」と口に出ます。阿寒湖のザリガニを、ムース状のニンニクと春菊のソースでいただいたのも、苦味がなんとも言えず美味しかった。
ボリュームは抑えめかと思ったら、お肉がかなり大きかったです。デザートに到達する頃にはかなり苦しく。。隣の席の女性はデザートをテイクアウトにしてもらっていました。これはありがたいですね。
接客は気取らず、リラックスしていただけます。クリスマスシーズンだったためか、テーブルも9つあって、隣と近く、カジュアルな感じでした。
またお昼にもうかがいたいです。ごちそうさまでした。
