総武線は平井駅に初めて降り立ちました。
改札出て北口(西口？)ロータリーを見た瞬間、錦糸町駅北口ロータリーをコンパクトにした感覚を覚えました。再開発が進んでおります。
しかし、右手に歩いていくと、昔ながらの魚屋さんとか、お米屋さんが点在しており、荒川も近いことあって、行商で栄えた街の名残を垣間見ました。
『弁天通り』と名のついた通り沿いに、『まる政』さんはあります。
白河ラーメンを提供されるお店とのこと。
店内は、ラーメン王石神氏のサイン色紙がやけに目だって見えます。
中華そば(醤油)650円を注文。
ほどなくして料理到着。
見た目が綺麗です。
平たい縮れ麺とあっさりスープは正に白河ラーメンのそれで、美味しいです。
静かな雰囲気の中で堪能させて頂きました。
