Shoya Oshima is a restaurant located along Shin-Ohashi Street, about a one-minute walk from the A4 exit of Oshima Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line. We went there on a night in late January for a New Year's party with 20 familiar members of the Edogawa Ward regulars. The restaurant has two floors and seats 85 in total. We booked a sunken kotatsu-style tatami room on the second floor. On this day, we went for the "Seafood Yosenabe Course (7 dishes in total, 2 hours all-you-can-drink included)" (5,000 yen/person). < Seafood Yosenabe Course Contents> [Appetizer] Seasonal chawanmushi [Sashimi] Five kinds of sashimi [Grilled food] Specially selected fresh grilled fish [Hot pot] Chef's proud Seafood yosenabe [Salad] Crab Caesar salad [Fried food] Cheese ham cutlet and French fries [Meal] Rice porridge or udon As for alcohol, the first glass of beer is a bottle, and from the second glass onwards, draft beer is OK. Other, we had all-you-can-drink sake, wine, sours, highballs, and more! It was a satisfying banquet course with plenty of eating and drinking for 2 hours (^^) Thank you for the delicious meal.
