I had lunch at ``Barchetta'' yesterday. This is an Italian Cuisine Restaurants located near Ito-Yokado near Hikifune Station (Photo 1). I entered the store just before 12:00, about 20 minutes past opening time. There were already two groups of customers inside the store. My first impression was that the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere and seemed like a pleasant place to have lunch. However, the waiter suddenly said, ``It will take about 20 to 30 minutes for the food to be ready. Is that okay?'' Well, I thought I'd use my smartphone to kill time and wait patiently, so I replied, "Okay," sat down at the two-person table, and just ordered. Photo 2 is the lunch menu on the table. There were three types: tomato sauce, cream sauce, and oil sauce, but I was more concerned with garlic than which sauce, so I ordered the "Puttanesta (¥1,280)"... Only the drinks came in about 10 minutes. After another 10 minutes, the salad and soup arrived, and another 5 minutes later, the pasta arrived (Photo 3). The amount of pasta seemed to be smaller than the impression I received from the menu. However, the taste was of high quality. It was a rich dish with a good mix of sourness, spiciness, and umami, and the flavors of vegetables, pasta, and garlic mixed together. The salad was also carefully prepared.
