だんだんと暑くなってきて冷たい蕎麦が食べたくなる日が増えた。軽くランニングをしてから蕎麦を食べに行こうとなんとなくこちらへ。
向島の花街にあって、向かいには有名な酒場「かどや」さんがあるから存在は知っていたのだけれど、外観から高級感があって入りづらかったというのもあって今回がはじめて。店内は薄暗くてムーディーな雰囲気。
ランチメニューは前菜や甘味がつく、ちょっとしたコースと季節そば、あとは天丼のセットがあった。ランチに前菜はちょっとお上品過ぎるので丼とのセットの「蕎麦とミニ天丼の昼御膳」（1,650円）にした。
蕎麦は二八蕎麦らしい。すすりやすく、喉越しもよい。正直なところ蕎麦に対する感想はそれくらいしか言えないんだけど。普段食べる蕎麦は食べやすいのが一番ですよね。
天丼は海老が2尾、獅子唐、茄子、かぼちゃと具だくさん。甘じょっぱいタレがかかっている。ちゃんと丁寧に揚げられた天ぷらで好感がもてる。
最後に蕎麦湯をいただいて一息。少しお値段は張るし、雰囲気がオシャレ過ぎて昼時の入りづらさはあるが、しっかりとした食事をいただける蕎麦屋さんだと思う。花街になってこの雰囲気はどういうブランディングなのだろう。おそらく個人経営ではないだろうから、どこかしらの企業のおえらいさんの意志が入っているんだろうなと思うとちょっとおもしろいな。
