向島にある菩提寺にお墓参りに行くと必ずこの界隈で食事をして帰るのですが、数年前に馴染みのお蕎麦屋の美舟音さんが閉店してしまいロス状態のところ見つけたのがこちらの僖蕎さんです。
これまではカジュアルにランチをいただいていたのですが今回初めて法事会食でお世話になりました。個室でご法事コースを人数分と陰膳をお願いしました。お二階に上がるとあら〜綺麗な個室が２つもあるのにびっくり。一階のカジュアルな雰囲気とは別世界です。
ご法事コースは季節料理や天麩羅お造り自家製蕎麦の八品でした。こちらのお料理はいわゆる普通の法事懐石とは違って鰻あり牛タンありで面白いです。柔らかいのでお年寄りも喜んでいました。特に鰻の温物が美味しくてご飯がもち麦なのでしょうか？食感が良く楽しめました。コースの量も丁度良いと思います。サービスもスタッフのお兄さんが感じ良く丁寧に接客してくれました。コロナ禍の影響で集う機会が減りましたが久しぶりにゆっくりと故人を偲びながら会食は嬉しいものですね。
それにしても向島の変化はめざましく新しいお店が増えたことにびっくり。私が子供の頃から見てきた向島とは違って何というか新しい風が吹いているような気がします。シャッターが閉まっていたお店がカフェに生まれ変わったり面白い趣向が増えたように感じました。
そうそう大事なことを書き忘れました。こちらのご法事コースは一名4,400円なのですがこれってお安くありませんか？個室を使わせていただいて陰膳や飲み物を付けても本当にこれでいいの？というくらいの明朗会計でした。ここ穴場ですね！
馴染みのお店がなくなってしまってもまたこうして新しいお店との出会いがあるのって素敵です。すっかりお世話になりありがとうございました。次はお彼岸のお墓参りの帰りにお邪魔しますね。ご馳走さまでした♡
