Go through the arcade, turn right at the first intersection (pachinko parlor) and go straight.
You'll see the shop once you enter a residential area. We welcome not only those who want to drink, but also those who just want to eat! We also have a wide variety of snacks available★Come and experi |
It's in Shin-Koiwa, but you'll find it in a residential area beyond the downtown area. I looked at the map on my phone and got a little lost, and then I found it in a quiet residential area. It seemed a little intimidating, but I went in. The second floor seems to be a residence. There are about four seats in the tatami room, a hot plate table and a sunken kotatsu. There is also a counter. The atmosphere is like it's been there for a long time, and it seems to be run by a married couple. I really like this atmosphere. The menu is from the menu on the wall, and everything is reasonably priced. I ordered some drinks, Monja-yaki, Okonomiyaki, and a la carte menu. After a while, about two regular customers came in. An appetizer is served. The appetizer is warm tofu. The moment I ate it, I was sure this place was delicious. The tofu was delicious. That's right. Apparently they used to make tofu. It was delicious. After that, I had a cheese omelette and grated mekabu. This was also a good snack. Monja-yaki. Pork and kimchi Monja-yaki. The sauce and monja soup flavor went very well together. This was also very delicious. The owner's explanation was good, so I was able to enjoy it. The best was tofu Okonomiyaki. I've never had Okonomiyaki before. I often eat Okonomiyaki, but... tofu?!? The tofu served as an appetizer was delicious, but Okonomiyaki!? I was told that adding tofu makes it loose, so it's better to cook it in two pieces, so I did. It was indeed loose and about to break, and the finishing touch was ponzu sauce. It seems that sauce would go well with it. Ponzu sauce. Okonomiyaki already has the flavor of tofu, so the ponzu sauce gives it a good finish. The green onions are effective, and it goes perfectly with the soybeans and dough. Sauce. At first I thought the sauce was different, but it goes well with it. There's also a lot of pickled ginger, which probably makes the sauce more appetizing. Delicious. Why is this place rated so low? I really wonder. Maybe it's because there aren't many reviews... I found a hidden gem. The taste, atmosphere, value for money, and customer service I will definitely go to this restaurant again, and I can recommend it.
