There are Yaeyama soba and Soki soba, and this time I chose Yaeyama. As expected, it's made by a mom from Ishigaki, so it's authentic (or is that obvious?) It's light and has a strong soup stock, and the noodles go straight in. I love it because I never get tired of eating it. The volume is moderate, so if you don't have enough, we recommend the set! It's a typical Okinawan restaurant where you sit cross-legged on tatami mats, so it's hard for people with bad backs (lol).The atmosphere is typical of an Okinawan Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), and the staff are kind and nice.
