Today my girlfriend wanted to eat Okinawan Cuisine, so we went to an Okinawan Cuisine restaurant in Koiwa! It was raining, but it's relatively easy to get to since it's close to the station. The store is on the second floor of the building, and there is a signboard and Yaeyama Soba flag at the bottom entrance, so it's easy to find! When you enter the store, there is a counter and tatami tables, and the staff are friendly and greet you cheerfully! ! The store is a very relaxing space with Okinawan folk songs and songs by Okinawan artists constantly playing. Sitting at the back of the tatami mats, I looked at the menu and found that in addition to Okinawan Cuisine, there was also local cuisine, so it was a great restaurant for people like me who have never eaten Okinawan Cuisine before. First, we ordered Mimipon (Mimigar ponzu sauce), island chili pepper Gyoza / Dumpling, sea grapes, Agu minced meat cutlet, and more! Mimipon was crunchy and delicious with the ponzu sauce! The staff said that the green chili pepper Gyoza / Dumpling were flavored, so it was okay to eat them as is, so I ate them as they were, Gyoza / Dumpling were bite-sized and spicy to my liking (*^^*) The sea grapes had shiso in the sauce. It was so delicious that it went well with the sea grape bubble wrap (*´༥` *) The Agu minced meat was very juicy and for me, who loves minced meat, it was a hit! ! ! The other dishes were delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff was kind enough to serve me a taro Croquette since I came even though it was raining. It was my first time eating it, but it was sweet and very delicious! I thought it was totally possible to go to Koiwa just for this place! It seems like there is a small stage and there are live performances on some days, so next time I would like to go on a day when there is a live performance! ! !
