This is the restaurant I visited yesterday. Yesterday, the weather was unstable, with strong winds and alternating cloudy skies and heavy rain, due to the approaching typhoon. Anyway, I was with a friend and we talked about where to have dinner and drinks, so we visited Ren. I have visited this restaurant several times. I entered the restaurant and was shown to a seat. The restaurant seems to be run by two people. The clientele seems to be groups of men and women, groups of men, and single men. The lighting in the restaurant is a little dim, and I think the atmosphere is good. We sat down and a staff member came to take our order, so each of us ordered a drink. I was thinking, "Should I have a mug of draft beer (Löwenbräu, 490 yen)?", when several people ordered something called Su-Hoppy, so I ordered Su-Hoppy (990 yen). We ordered the following food in two or three separate orders: Chicken ham 380 yen, Smoked meat platter 390 yen, Avocado Tempura 390 yen, Natto cheese omelette 490 yen, Chicken tempura 490 yen, Fried chicken 490 yen, Bismarck (egg) 590 yen, Margherita (basil) 590 yen, Horse mackerel nare-ro 590 yen. After a while, the Su-Hoppy was served. It was a very large mug filled with ice, three glasses of shochu (medium), and one bottle of Hoppy. It was heavy. It was an interesting way to serve it. I thought it was interesting, so I lined up a mug of oolong tea next to it and took a photo. The dishes were served one after another. My impression of the dishes was that the Bismarck (egg) was rich and especially delicious. The natto cheese omelette had the sticky texture of natto sealed in with the egg. I enjoyed it, but some of my friends who don't like natto didn't touch it. The chicken tempura was also filling and had a good taste. The other dishes were also quite delicious. I think the prices are generally reasonable. I'd like to come again. Thank you for the meal.
