この日は、新小岩で日雇いロードー。
ランチに、どうしても食べてみたいものがあり、新小岩駅南口からすぐにある店へ。
このあたりは、中華料理店がひしめくエリアですが、ひときわ、チャーボンと
書かれた目立つ看板なので、すぐにわかりました。
今回のお店
【 ◎チャ～ボン多福楼 新小岩店 】
店先には、多種多彩のメニューがずらりと掲げられ、誠に、にぎやか。
食べロガーなら、泣いて喜びそうなネタになるチャーボン以外にも、
沢山の掘り出し物がありそうでした。
扉を開けると、手前がテーブル席になっていて、ここに着座です。
店の構造上からか、最初は、換気が悪かったようですが、すぐに空調が入り、
快適になりました。
卓上には、ランチメニューがありましたが、残念ながら、チャーボンは
載っておらず、仕方ないなと、暖が取れそうな品を選びました。
◆五目タンメン 750円
五分あまりでの着丼。
トレイには、メイン、ザーサイ、杏仁豆腐、そして、小さな揚げ餅が二つ。
単品かと思っていたので、これらの豪華セットは大歓迎。
まずは、パッと目についたが、ザーサイから。
通常のものより、濃いめの色ですから、存在感は抜群。
一口食べれば、味も、パンチの効いたもの。これは、ほんとに美味い。
（これは、メインも、期待出来そうだ）
メインに目を移せば、円錐型のドンブリで、その丼面は、いろいろな具材が一杯
入ってた、ややトロミのついた餡で覆われて、麺は全く見えないほど。
（こりゃ、美味そうだ！）
餡の間から、麺を引き出すと、中太ストレートやや多加水麺が、スープを絡ませての登場。
これが、のどごしのいいツルシコ麺で、すんなりと胃におさまります。美味い。
スープは、超アツアツではないので、すぐに飲んでみると、鶏ガラが味に深みを与えた、
意外にサラサラした醤油ベースの味。タンメンと言いつつ、中華そばに似ています。
（レシートには、五目そばと表記）それはともかく、好みの味で、美味い。
さて、これからが、この品の本領発揮。
麺の上に乗っていたボリュームたっぷりの餡には、様々な具材が入っていて、
食べても食べても尽きないような感があって、食いしん坊んは有難いもの。
一番目立っていた海老は、「一匹だろうから、大事に食べよう」と思っていたら、
下から、もう一匹出てきて、これは、サプライズ。思わずニンマリです。
キクラゲ、イカも、白菜も、惜しげも無く、ふんだんに入っており、
人参やタケノコの他に、マッシュルームなんていう贅沢なものまであります。
あっ、今度は、豚肉がありました！
五目という名に恥じないたくさんの具材のおかげで、お宝探しをした気分になり、
もう、嬉し涙が溢れました。
円錐形の丼というと、ボリュームが少なくて、肩透かしをもらうことも多いですが、
今回は、全く別。底の方まで、ギッシリと詰まった麺は、通常なら、大盛りサイズで、
かなりの食べ応え。スープも餡も多いので、全体的にも、量が多く感じられたのです。
揚げ餅は、シンプルながら、モチっとした食感で、美味しく、全体のボリューム向上に、
一役かってました。杏仁豆腐も、普通に美味い。
食べ終えた後の、とてつもない満足感は、質感の良い五目タンメンに限らず、
セットの他品がもたらせてくれたものです。
これで、税込750円ですから、コスパ高しです。
後から後から、お客さんが入ってくるのも、納得です。
帰りしな、「チャーボンは、昼間食べられますか？」と、試しに、店のオネエサンに
聞いてみると、どうやら、大丈夫のよう。次回は、ぜひ、このチャーボンとやらを
食べてみたいものです。
あー、ホントに美味い五目タンメンでした。ごちそうさま。
