総武線の新小岩駅からは平和橋通りを小松川方向に
歩くと５分位で左側にあります。たまたま前を通り
かかったのですが店名に「バングラカリー」と書いて
あったので興味が湧いていたこともあって入って見る
事にしました。
店内はいかにもベンガル民族と思える男性が一人で
ビールを飲んでました。メニューを見ると取り敢えず
内容は普及的インド料理店の物でしたが、ホールに
居たスタッフに聞いてみると、バングラディッシュの
スタイルで作っているそう・・これは楽しみだぁ～
メニューの中で一番バングラディッシュのスタイルに
近いのはどのカレー？と、聞いたら、チキンマサラを
薦められたので従いました。辛さは、バングラの場合
あんまり辛くないことが多いので、辛くでお願いです。
主食はライスですが、バスマティ―と、日本米の混合
だそうです。マンゴーアチャールはサービスです♪
カレーが出来る間に色々と聞いたのですが、明け方の
３時まで営業している、現地スタッフが書いた居酒屋
メニューが日本語の書き方が上手くないので、逆に
一生懸命さが伝わって来て微笑ましいです！！
そうこうしているうちに、バングラ仕様のチキンマサラ
が運ばれて来ました。見た目は通常のインドカレーと
変わらないですが勿論、生クリームグルグルは無くて
更に聞くと乳製品（ギーを除く）不使用だそうです。
殆どとろみがなくて極端に言えば、スパイス、水と脂
のみ使用、辛さは青唐辛子で出しているようでした。
なんと言っても、変な言い方ですが「さっぱり」して
いるのです。ライスはバスマティー＆日本米の混合で
ありました。マンゴーアチャールはサービスです！！
行った日は平日でしたので通常のビリヤ二がメニュー
にありましたが土曜日＆日曜日はバングラディッシュ
仕様の本格的現地の物が食べられるそうです♪
ムスリムの店ですが、客にはアルコール提供はOKで
あります。勿論、スタッフ全員は飲まないです。
バングラを唱っている割にはメニューの中に、モモや
アル・コ・アチャールもあるし、日本の居酒屋料理も
あります・・が、本領を発揮するのはベンガル料理と
思います。土＆日曜日がお勧めです！！
