週末の日曜日、早い時間にタイ料理を食べに行きました。
築地市場駅A２出口を出ると、目の前が朝日新聞社。先を進むと
国税局、そしてさらに橋を渡ったすぐのところに目指す「SAWAN」を
見つけました。隠れ家的お店ですね。
久しぶりの秋らしい天気。築地をぶらぶらして、
タイ料理を堪能することにしました。
まずはドリンク。
夫はマンゴージュース、私はタイのビール、チャーンビールを。
チャーンビール、瓶が可愛くて、テンション上がりますよ。
一緒に揚げたえびせんが付いてきました。サクサクでおいしいです。
スープは「トムヤムクンスープ」。ずっと暖かいまま飲めるように
壺の下には火がついてます。辛くてすっぱいスープ、海老が大きくて
今まで食べたトムヤムクンスープの中で一番かも！
サラダは「ソムタムタイ」を選んでみました。
青パパイヤのサラダで少しピリ辛です。パパイヤは早いうちは野菜なんですね。
ちょっと大根に似た味かな。スタッフさんも全員タイの人なので、どんどん
タイに旅行している気分になれます。
炒め物で「パクパクブンファイデーン」を頼みました。
これ、空心菜炒めです。テレビで空心菜炒めを作っていて、食べたいな、と思って
いたところなので、なんかうれしかったです。さくさくした食感、美味しいです。
海老の揚げ春巻きの「ポピュヤクントード」は海老が3本。
私が2本食べちゃいました。美味しいからね。
ごはんは大好きな「カオマンガイ」。茹でた鶏とジャスミンライス、ソースも
美味しくて、ますますタイ気分！
そして、満腹！！！
でも、デザートは別腹ですね。「カノムモーゲン」。
小さなお皿が２つ。二層になってます。
上のほうはココナッツな感じで、下はなんかお芋っぽい。
甘さ控えめで、大好きな味です。夫とシェアしたので、すぐに無くなっちゃって、
残念だったけど、また食べたい一品です。
まだまだ気になるメニューが目白押し。
タイ料理で大満足になって、帰りは日比谷線の築地駅に向かいました。
