I was curious to visit this Medicinal Food curry restaurant because their Omelette Rice rice looked delicious. It was a rainy weekday at around 11:40, and the restaurant was open but there were no other customers, so the staff immediately turned on the stove and the background music. I was shown to my seat and the hot water was made. Apparently, hot water is served on a daily basis here unless you ask for water. It's very cold outside, so I'm glad. ・ Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) (with Cochin soup) 1,100 yen [Side orders below] ・Bite-sized curry roux 200 yen ・Ayurvedic rasam soup mini 200 yen ・Dassai sake koji sweet sake (hot) 500 yen → Free with newsletter registration I had the following. Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) is delicious! The soft egg, firm rice, and soft and juicy chicken are very delicious! I love Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl), and this was my favorite Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl)! I want to eat it again. I visited Omelette Rice hoping to get some omelette rice, but since Omelette Rice was out of stock, I was able to try this oyakodon. The cucumber pickles served with it were probably the "homemade pickled Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl)" on the menu. They were very rich in flavor and packed quite a punch. Cochin soup It was delicious, but Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl), cucumber pickles, and the side dishes I ordered made it a side dish. It was lighter than the other dishes. It was a comforting taste. Curry It was a curry with a strong spiciness and sourness, and was full of spices (Medicinal Food?). It seemed to have a lot of vegetables in it other than the spices, and I felt the owner's attention to detail and kindness towards the diners. I don't usually eat spicy curry, but the spices were very delicious, and I was able to enjoy it despite the spiciness! Ayurvedic rasam soup I was nervous about trying it, as I was told it had a sour, unfamiliar taste. When I drank it, I was surprised at how mellow it was. It certainly had a lot of sourness and spices, but it felt like a tomato-based soup, and I found it easy to drink. Dassai sake koji sweet sake (hot) I had it after the meal. Yes! Delicious! Maybe it's because it's Dassai? The mellow sweetness was strong and I enjoyed every bite. I want Dassai lovers to drink it. I may have been a bothersome customer, getting a lot of side dishes one by one. However, the staff (maybe the owner?) never showed any signs of displeasure and was kind and helpful. I'm happy. Apparently Restaurants originally started out as a place that used a herbal medicine called "Ezoukogi", so next time I'd like to try the Ezoukogi jelly or Ezoukogi extract + coffee made with this Ezoukogi. There were also a lot of fruit liquors in the store! They said they could drink them at night, and there were a lot of plum liquors and quince liquors that were probably rich, and I wondered what they were, and it was fun just to look at them. It's nice. I'd like to enjoy it slowly, on the rocks or with hot water. There are also many original health teas, and I would like to visit again and again to taste them carefully. Customers who came later also ordered after the staff explained the menu to them. It was a fun, homey restaurant surrounded by mysterious things. It's a Medicinal Food curry restaurant, so some people may have different tastes, but I thought it was very delicious. I savored it and it warmed my stomach and my heart! It was delicious. I'll come again! Thank you for the meal!
