スペースボックスというインド映画配給会社の社長さんはインドはタミルナード出身の女性。縁があって日本に住むことになったようで、2014年から会社を立ち上げ、インド映画を上映している。
こちらのお店は今年の3月にオープンした南インド料理店。そのスペースボックスによるお店です。
駅から近いけどお店のある通りは静かな通り。
スタッフもインドの方ばかりに見えるが、ネパールの方もいらっしゃるのかな？
シェフはチェディナード出身らしい。
ランチのノンベジタリーセット、1,300円をオーダー。
この値段でこの内容はお得。写真では伝わらないかもしれないけど、このターリはビッグサイズなんです。
選べるカレーはチキンとマトンに。
先に登場したのはなんと卵スープ。これがなんだかスパイスの香りがして美味かった。
サンバルもラサムもあっさりした口当たりなんだけど、とてもスパイシー。辛さはそこまででもない。
ココナッツのポリヤルは南インドであるけど、スリランカぽくも感じました。
サラダは特別インドらしくはない。
二つ折りのチャパティは香ばしくてうまかった。
14時半近くだったけど、つぎつぎとインド人らしき人が入店して2階に上がっていく。皆知り合いのようだ。
2階も広そうだな。
