ルーチェ（伊:luce）とは「光」を意味する女性名詞。いろいろなジャンルの店舗名にも使われていますね。ちなみに食べログで調べてみると、Luceで106店、ルーチェで140店もヒットします。私は今回のルーチェの前に、三郷市のLuceで１件投稿していました。
で、西葛西にはLuceという美容院まであります。本題のこちらは西葛西の老舗イタリアンで、ケーキも押しのお店です。ずいぶん前に一度行ったきりですが、最近、店内もランチ内容もリニューアルしたようで再訪してみました。ランチ時は正に「下町マダムの憩いの場」ですね、お客さん全員女性でした。
■からすみ和えペペロンチーノにランチCセットとビールなどを付けて注文。
ルーチェの前には、この場所にはテスタドゥーラというイタリアンの店があったとの事です。突然の閉店ののち、紆余曲折あって神田の小川町にて再開しましたが、そこには胸を打つ物語あり。しかしそれはまた別の話し。こちらの西葛西のお店に関しては、ドイツ文豪の死に際ではありませんが「もっと光を」なんて感じたりして。
