A popular movie and TV drama filming location! Enjoy a drink in a quaint location. A hidden bar that requires prior reservations
Enjoy a drink in a luxurious location that is just like a scene from a movie. Masamichi Katayama, who has worked on designs for many famous companies, was in charge of the design direction and interio |
There was a sign on the wall and I knew the BAR was having a pre-opening. It's a bar in a rental SOHO office that opened in 2010. I searched for information on the pre-opening, and found that "As of September 1, 2019, the management company of the BAR has changed from Mone-Phila Co., Ltd. to Dirise Co., Ltd." I visited the BAR, which has been renovated after changing Shinbashi Solo Drinking. I had checked the drink prices, so I opened the door with peace of mind. I also looked up interior designer Masamichi Katayama. The entrance on the first floor of this building looks exactly like Masamichi Katayama's design. I heard that Katayama also designed the BAR. Be careful, as the cover charge is different for counter seats and sofa seats. If you're alone, you can sit at the counter, so I sat at the counter at first, but when I saw the view, I thought about moving to the sea side, but the staff told me about the charge. The night view is spectacular. It's a view that you should see at least once. I ordered The Premium Malt's Master's Dream 800 yen, spaghetti bolognese, and fish and chips. A second Carlsberg beer was 700 yen. I may have been a little too greedy, but the portions were enough to make a satisfying dinner. I was a little hesitant to order curry rice, but the bolognese had a homemade feel and the rich sauce was delicious. I'll definitely have curry next time. It's a restaurant that fills you up and is very conscientious. It's luxurious - Tokyo Tower, the Ferris wheel, and the Maritime Science Museum are common sights, but at night it's quiet and the lights look very beautiful. I was guided to the observation deck on the mezzanine floor, which is not usually used, and the large round sofa and full glass made me feel elegant. I heard that this was the location used in the movie "Helter Skelter" and it reminded me of the scene. The atmosphere of the restaurant is of course good, but it's also a lot of fun to sit at the counter and talk to the staff. They are knowledgeable about whiskey, so I think it's irresistible for those who like it.
