平日ランチで初訪問です。
東京メトロ有楽町線豊洲駅からゆりかもめの新豊洲駅方向に徒歩で10分ほどのところです。
以前からネットでこの店の存在は確認していましたが、周辺に他の飲食店がなく躊躇していました。この日は少し時間があったので豊洲から10分かけて歩いて行きました。キャナルプレイスTOYOSUという商業施設になっていますが飲食店はこちらだけで、他はローソンや動物病院です。隣接するタワマン住人用に造られているのでしょう。確認していませんが駐車場はなさそうなのでクルマでのアクセスも微妙そうです。
店はカフェとパン屋で入って左側にパンが並んでいて、右側がカフェです。
カフェですがランチは「パスタ」「ピザ」「サンドイッチ」などが揃っており、「パスタ」から『リングイネ海老・トマト・ルッコラのレモンバターソース（ドリンクバー・サラダ・スープ付き）』1,580円をオーダーしました。「サラダ」は普通ですが、「ホワイトマッシュルームのスープ」は濃厚感があり美味しいです。「リングイネ」は適度なアルデンテで、しっかりした「海老」が４つ入っていて美味しい「パスタ」です。カフェ設定ながらも料理のクオリティは高いです。
店名は、Onthecanal（運河の上）ですが、実際にはCanalsideですね。豊洲駅からは少し距離があり人が少なく、運河沿いなので雰囲気が良く、お天気よい日はテラス席で気分よく食事が出来そうです。
