チーズが溢れるビジュアルが写真映えすることからか、一昨年ほど前からディープディッシュピザに代表されるシカゴピザを提供するお店が増えてきてはいるのですが、いまひとつブームになり切れないことにピザ好きとしては焦ったさを感じているのですが…
今年7月〝ららぽーと豊洲〟にある『ベル・オーブ』を増床する形でオープンした『ブッチャー・リパブリック』ではディープディッシュピザを看板商品として打ち出しているとのことで…
どんなお店なのかと、お昼がてらに覗いてみることにいたします
2軒のダブルネームであることから戸惑いもありましたが、ブッチャー・リパブリックのピザや肉料理をベル・オーブのビールとともに楽しめるお店だとほどなく理解することができました
気分としてはディープディッシュピザをいただきたいところではありますが、流石にチーズたっぷりなピザをひとりでいただくには無理があるとランチメニューにある3種の「ボールチョップドサラダ」から“ケイジャンチキン”を選びます
メニューにはリーフミックスとあるベースのお野菜がキャベツであったことに残念さを感じますが、トマト トレビス 玉葱 人参 枝豆 グリンピースと多種のお野菜がいただけることはうれしいことですし、スッキリとした風味が心地良いレモンドレッシングとケイジャンのスパイシーさ、そしてパルメジャーノのコクが合わさったおいしさを楽しむことができました
