浜松町駅から東へ歩く、やたらと浴衣姿が多い。
女性だけでなく男も浴衣姿、祭りか？と思うがどうやら同じ方向へ進んでいるようだ。
竹芝客船ターミナルに集まる浴衣姿、若い。男も女も若い。嫌な予感。
とりあえず船に乗るらしい、それくらいの知識でこちらへやってきた。
大人2500円・・・やっぱり嫌な予感。
船に乗る、そこそこ大きい船。
個室に入る。個室と言ってもかなり殺風景。
すでにオードブルが並んでいる。ビールが並んでいる。
出航前にして乾杯。そしてオードブルに手をつける。
見た目そこそこ立派なオードブルだが見た目だけ、スーパーのオードブルより酷い。
不味いとは言わないけれど極めて質が低い。
ビールを勧められるだけで美味しくもないオードブルを説明されるだけの個室から抜け出してデッキに出る。
デッキは人で溢れている。
若い学生たちが騒いでいる・・・ダメだぁ～こういう雰囲気。
ステージがつくられ踊っていたりもする・・・ホントダメ。
飲食物が売られている。安くない。
一番上に上がり空を見上げる。
東京もここまでくれば星が見える。さそり座のかたちが分かるくらい。
その空を羽田空港を飛び立った旅客機が通り過ぎる。
一面に広がる黒い海のその縁を光の点が輪をつくる。
ねっとりと絡みつく潮風に吹かれながら海を眺める。心を殺して海を眺める。
心を殺せば耳障りな雑音も気にならなくなる、何事も心の持ちようだ。
船が折り返して竹芝へ戻ってくる。
この後、一眼レフカメラを持ってこなかった事を後悔した。
大井埠頭に立ち並ぶガントリークレーンが橙色の照明に浮かび上がる。
その上空を左旋回で旅客機が腹を見せ轟音を響かせながら羽田空港へ降りていく。
この光景だけがこの日の収穫だった。
およそ２時間の船旅があっけなく終わる。
クルーズなんて優雅なものではない。
単にお祭りの場所として船を使っているだけで、ただただ騒がしい。
安価だから学生が集まり大人にはただつらいだけ。
盛り上がりたいだけの人か耳栓をして夜の東京湾に一眼レフカメラを向ける人向けの船旅。
