過日の昼餉。芝大門での午前中の業務を終えての昼休憩。本日はお蕎麦気分。毎度やぶ砂さんでは芸が無いので、近辺で新規開拓。ふとした場所にライトタッチな当店を見つける。
店内はテーブル席カウンター席が機能的に配置され、立食い蕎麦屋さんと町蕎麦屋さんとの中間のテイスト。店頭の券売機にてかつ丼セットをぽちり。1,000円札投入して小銭お釣り少々。初見のお店では大抵この手のセットか玉子とじ蕎麦を頂くことが多いのだけれど、本日はかなりの空腹感だったのでセットを。セルフサービスの水を汲んで案内されたテーブル席に着座。お店のおばさまに食券を渡してしばし待つ。
ややあって供されたミニかつ丼ともり蕎麦。お値段鑑みてあまり期待していなかったのだけれど、きちんと町蕎麦レヴェルのものが出てきて嬉しい誤算。この質量でこのお値段ならば十分お値打ち感あり。巷のラーメン専門店のプレーンラーメンとほぼ同等価格で腹いっぱいになれるのだもの。
総じて存外悪くない印象。セルフサービスを謳っているとはいえ、やはり人員不足による目配り不足感は否めず。飲食業業界の切実な人手不足を老婆心ながらちょっと心配しつつ店を出る。
