Spring has arrived, but there are still days when it gets cold. I wanted to warm up my body anyway, so I went into Sangyetang mode this morning! However, I was busy with work so I decided to have a late lunch. There are a couple of restaurants in this area where you can eat samgyetang, but they must be sold out because quantities are limited...so I decided to head over to Korean Cuisine restaurant I was interested in! The lunch menu is rich and has a variety of options, but the samkeito lunch is the most expensive at 1,480 yen. Well, I ordered it out of necessity. After waiting for a while, the samgyetang arrived, boiling slowly in a large pot! The staff at the store used scissors to cut the half-sized chicken into bite-sized pieces. The pot was bigger than the samgyetang that I usually eat, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish it because there was so much soup, but it was so addictive that I finished it all! It was piping hot until the end and my body felt warm. A very satisfying taste! Next time, let's try other reasonably priced menu items. I'll come back later!
