February 3, 2024. Setsubun I went to Tokyo for a dinner party in the evening. This time I stayed in the Daimon area, so I stopped by Zojoji Temple and learned that a Setsubun bean-throwing event was being held. (I've seen it on TV before!) After lunch at a nearby cafe, I entered the temple grounds and found that there was a turn-taking system, so I was able to take part in the last turn, so I decided to participate in the bean-catching race. (I was in the front row, so I was able to collect a lot of beans lol) Afterwards, as I was walking around the grounds, I found a cafe. There's still time until dinner, so I'll have some Sweets. ◯Pesticide-free roasted tea (pot) 750 yen ◯Freshly squeezed chestnuts from Kumamoto prefecture Mont Blanc Goku 1900 yen Mont Blanc is a fluffy homemade sponge made with Japanese chestnuts, simple fresh cream, and caramelized walnuts accented with sugar and chestnuts. It seems to be a luxurious squeeze of marron paste. I was very satisfied with the taste of chestnuts! Thank you for the meal♪
