食べログの１００名店ということで気になっていた、こちらのお店に平日の夜にお伺いしました。
お店は内装は小洒落たエスニック料理店という感じ。
５時半ぐらいだったので、お店はまだお客さんはおりませんでした。
普段わたしたちが食べているインドカレーはいわゆる北の方のもので、南インドはもっぱらお米が主食らしく、その南インド料理を現地の定食スタイルでいただけるお店とのこと。
ということで、当日チョイスしましたのは。
「カレー２種のミールス」￥２０００
カレーは以下から２種選びます。
◯炭火チキンマサラ→チョイス
◯季節のベジマサラ
◯ケララマトンステュー
◯限定スペシャルカレー（当日はマレーシアフィッシュカレー）→チョイス
お料理がとどくと、なるほどこちらが南インド料理の定食なんですね。
カレー以外のプレートのお料理はこちら。
①ライス※おかわり可・・レモンライスに変更
②ダール（豆を煮込んだカレー）※おかわり可
③サンバル（豆と野菜を煮込んだスープ）※おかわり可
④ラッサム（黒胡椒ののスープ）※おかわり可
⑤キャベツのトーレン（スパイスとココナッツを用いてサッと炒めたもの）
⑥ポテトギーロースト（マッシュポテト）
カレーはスパイシーだけど旨味の深みもあって、どちらも美味しかったです。
そしてなんといっても、いろんなスープやカレー、副菜をご飯に自由に混ぜて食べるスタイルがとても新鮮でした。
海外旅行した気分！
初めていただくスタイルだったのですが、人気店な理由がうなづけました。
現地風スタイルで、そして丁寧なお料理で、見た目も味もとってもよい。
