今日は久々に品川港南口へ。交番を過ぎて直進すると、そこはラビリンスの入り口。人がすれ違うのがやっとの路地にある「焼肉 かすが」さん。このレトロで怪しげな雰囲気がたまらないです。
まるでハシゴのような階段を登り2階へ。まずは上着を丸めて不織布の袋に突っ込みます。そうしないと、肉と脂と煙りの匂いが染み付いちゃいますので要注意。
熱々のコンロで、味噌を纏ったホルモンを炙っていきます。立ち上がる煙と弾ける脂。たまにファイヤー。これこれ、これがホルモンの醍醐味。脂の甘味と味噌のコクでハイボールが進みます。
ユッケジャンスープは、辛味はほどほど旨味はマックス。仕事で疲れた身体の細胞に滲みていきます。
品川港南口は、食肉市場が近いせいか、焼き肉やホルモンのお店が多いですね。品川で飲むならお洒落なバーよりも、この怪しげな路地裏が絶対おススメです。
