この日は高輪桜まつり2024を訪問。目黒区総合庁舎と同じ村野藤吾設計の名建築、グランドプリンスホテル新高輪をはじめとするホテル4館に囲まれた日本庭園の桜を鑑賞するというイベントです。
夕方からのライトアップに合わせて伺いましたが、その前にまずは腹ごしらえ。夕食は帰宅してからちゃんと食べるとして取り敢えずのつなぎと思ったのがこちらのパン屋さんです。
クイーンズ伊勢丹のフードコート的スペースにあるので買ったパンをすぐにカウンター席やテーブル席で食べれるのが選択の理由です。
購入したのはサンドイッチのパックで税込600円強。ハムチーズ、玉子、ツナの3種類が二切れずつ入ったごくオーソドックスなサンドイッチです。味はまずまずだし、二人でシェアして小腹満たすにはちょうどいい。
フードコートのお寿司さんで買ったミネラルウォーターを含めて一人400円くらいで済んで助かりました。
この後向かったホテルの庭園は無料で一般公開されているのにあまり知られていないせいか、あまり混んでいないのがありがたい。小腹満たせたおかげでライトアップされた幻想的な夜桜をゆっくり鑑賞することができました。
このパターンは毎年使えそうです。
