特に急ぎの仕事が無い休日。
予約して「ゴッホ アライブ展」を見に行ってみました。なかなか面白い試みだとは思いますが、見せ方にはまだまだ改善の余地がありそうな気がします。
その帰り、せっかくなので近くでランチを食べようと検索し、見つけた「朝霞 刀削麺 天王洲店」さんにお邪魔しました。場所は、東京モノレール天王洲アイル駅の道向かいにある「天王洲オーシャンスクエア」の１階です。
店内は７割ぐらいの入り。私は２人掛けテーブルに案内されました。内装はそれなりに凝っていて、中華料理店らしさがあります。
さて注文です。ランチメニューもそれなりにありましたが、まずは店名にもある刀削麺です。６種類の中から「酸辣刀削麺」を、ミニチャーハンとのセットでお願いしました。
12〜13分で提供されました。セットでなくてもデザートの「杏仁豆腐」が付いているようです。「麻辣刀削麺」の器は比較的大きめで、これにミニチャーハンですから、かなりボリュームがあります。
早速いただきます。「酸辣刀削麺」のスープは思ったよりも薄めで透明度が高く、辛さは程々。具材としては挽肉とネギがメインで、上に白髪ネギとパクチー、更に白胡麻です。麺はもっちりした食感で、その厚みがバラバラなのはいかにも刀削麺らしいですね。麺は悪くないのですが、スープにもう少しコクがあれば、もっと美味しいのではないかと思います。
ミニチャーハンの具材は、チャーシュー・玉子・グリーンピースといったところ。パラパラなタイプですが、出来立てのチャーハンならではの感じは無く、多分炒め置きなのだと思います。まあ、忙しいランチタイムの、しかもセット商品なので、これは仕方ないところです。杏仁豆腐は極めて普通でした。
メニューには、刀削麺以外の料理が充実しており、普通の街中華としても使えそうなお店です。私が退店する頃にはほぼ満席でしたので、多分平日のランチタイムは混雑しているのでしょう。個人的には、久しぶりの刀削麺で、なぜか「刀削麺熱」が出てきたらしく、他のお店も探してみたいなと思いながらお店を後にしました。
お勘定は1,000円です。
