Hazuki is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) near Aomono Yokocho Station, and there is always a long line for lunch every Friday, so I've always wanted to go there. It was raining today, so I thought it was my chance, and when I went there around 11:40, I was able to get a seat at the counter right away. Their lunch every Friday is katsu curry. When I sat down, they asked me how much rice I wanted, so I ordered a regular portion. (Large portion is free) First of all, the dish looks like it contains large potatoes, and even the regular portion is quite a lot. When I ate it, it was a pretty spicy curry, and the fluffy potatoes and spicy curry were great. It didn't feel special, but it was addictively delicious. This curry makes me want to come back. Even though it's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), the katsu curry is delicious, and I can see why it's popular. Next time I'd like to try the large portion. When I left, there was a line, even though it was before lunchtime (around 11:50).
