In the evening, I had a meeting with a client near Aomono Yokocho Station. After that, we decided to have dinner together. He took me to "Gyoza / Dumpling Hiroba". The location is just after leaving Aomono Yokocho Station on the Keikyu Main Line, heading east, and turning right at Motonagisa Street. First, we had a toast with draft beer. From the name of the restaurant, I thought it was a Gyoza / Dumpling specialty restaurant, but the menu has a variety of regular Chinese Cuisine. I ordered the following from the menu. ♦︎Assortment of three kinds of cold dishes Three types of pork, steamed chicken, and jellyfish marinated in soy sauce. The seasoning is a little strong, but the volume is plentiful and it's good as a snack with alcohol. After the beer, I had Shaoxing wine. The 10-year-old was reasonably priced at 2,800 yen for a bottle. ♦︎Fried Gyoza / Dumpling ♦︎Boiled Gyoza / Dumpling With this name, I couldn't help but order it. The "fried Gyoza / Dumpling" has wings, but they're not very crispy, so it feels a bit strange. The skin is chewy and the volume is sufficient, but the taste is just average. The "boiled Gyoza / Dumpling" are not in soup, and the skin is thicker than the "fried Gyoza / Dumpling". If anything, I prefer this one. There are many delicious Gyoza / Dumpling restaurants in Kamata and Omori, so I would like to see a little more ingenuity. ♦︎Spring rolls The filling is wrapped in shiso leaves and has a light taste. The friedness is light, crispy on the edges, but a little soft in the middle. The filling has a strong flavor, and this is also a good snack to go with alcohol. ♦︎Gomoku fried rice The ingredients are large shrimp, lettuce, roast pork, egg, and green onion. It is fried well and has a moderately fluffy texture. The saltiness is just right, and the texture of the lettuce is good. It was a delicious, authentic fried rice. It is of a reasonable level for a local Chinese restaurant, and none of the dishes are bad. Among them, I was not very impressed with the "Gyoza / Dumpling" that is the name of the restaurant. I'm a little curious as to why they chose this name. The area was bustling with groups and families having fun. The restaurant has just been renovated, so it's clean and spacious. It's close to the station, so it looks like it's convenient, and I hope it continues to do well. The bill for two people was about 7,500 yen. Thank you for the meal!
