お目当ての酒場があったが満員で入れず、駅前のこのお店で焼き鳥を楽しむことに。結論から言うと実に素晴らしかった。
まず一品物。名物の牛煮込みはトロトロで脂身の旨さを感じ、同じく名物のメンチカツは逆に鶏ベースとあって脂身が少ないが肉の旨味がぎっしり。お通しのポテサラと白菜の漬物は大きな主張なく肉を殺さない。
一方で串も素晴らしい。ハツは店によって大いに違いがあるが、ここは無難に美味しい。勿論ぼんちりやせせりなど比較的クセがないものもしっかり美味しく仕上げている。
コスパとお店の感じもよく、立会川飲みでは欠かせない一軒になったと言える。次に行くのが今から楽しみ。
