I'm going on a four-night, five-day trip to Tokyo to see my girlfriend who lives in Kanagawa Prefecture. From Hiroshima Station to Shinagawa Station, I took the Nozomi bullet train for about four hours, then from there I took the Keihin Tohoku Line to Kamata Station... Kamata was featured in a movie. Today I took a leisurely stroll around Kamata. Kamata is also famous for its Gyoza / Dumpling and Pork Cutlet. I wanted to eat beef and chicken for dinner, so I decided to go bar-hopping. First up was a beef restaurant...I was actually really looking forward to it (lol). This is Bar Niku-Sushi. The exterior is made of concrete, and the sign for Bar Niku-Sushi is embedded in the wall. Inside is a stylish bar. It has a nice atmosphere where you can also drink alcohol. I took a seat at the counter and decided to order two of their specialties. Now... let's eat! [Beef 3-piece platter (Cow tongue, salt-aged beef thigh, and lean wagyu beef)] This is my first experience with meat Sushi! It looks delicious, so naturally my expectations are rising. I immediately ordered the first piece...salt-aged beef thigh...mmmmm! It's good! It feels like I'm eating meat, and the flavor is good. Cow tongue has just the right amount of crunch, and the texture is also delicious! The Wagyu beef lean meat is not bland but has a light and delicious flavor. It's hard to rank them all as the "three kings" of beef Sushi! It was delicious. [Specialty! Sashitoro] You can order just one piece, and they will finish it by grilling it right in front of you. It feels a waste to eat it in one bite, but if you take a bite, happiness will spread throughout your mouth and it will melt. Full satisfaction. The service is just right and not too pushy.
