蒲田駅東口の商店街の中ほど、外階段を降りるビルの地下1階にあるステーキ屋さん。こちらは本店となっていますが、今のところ支店はないようです。アクリル板で仕切られた席が30席以上もあるお店。先客2名、後客4名と空いていました。
お水を持ってきてくれる店員さんが、QRコードが印刷された会計板を持って来るので、スマホでそれを読み込んで注文します。
ジャンボステーキ 300g 1980円
ソースはオニオンガーリックを、焼き方はミディアムレアでオーダーしました。注文すると、女性店員が注文を見て厨房に大声で伝達します。それなら最初から口頭で注文を受けてもいいんじゃないかと思いましたけど。
ステーキを頼んでからビールが飲みたくなり、追加でスマホで注文しようとしたらうまく接続できず、店員さんにお願いする羽目になりました。
生ビールジョッキ 420円
この生ビールは安いですね。冷たくて美味しいビールを飲んでいたら、味噌汁とごはんがやってきて、すぐにステーキも焼き上がりました。
熱く焼けた鉄板に乗って来たジャンボステーキ、厚みのある、マグロの柵みたいな形のハラミがジュージュー焼けています。オニオンガーリックソースをかけると、シャーっとソースが沸騰し、もうもうと湯気が揚がります。ナイフでハラミをカットして食べると、うん、まずまず柔らかいUSビーフのハラミ肉。ミディアムレアでいい感じの焼き具合。
卓上の塩胡椒でも食べてみます。ブラックペッパーがいい香り。ハラミは肉肉しいけど、そんなに脂はなくて若干内臓っぽいですね。焼肉で食べる脂が乗った霜降りのジューシーハラミとはちょっと違う。やはりUSビーフは赤身系な方が美味いです。オニオンガーリックソースは結構味が濃くて、ごはんのおかずにはいいかも。
300gはぺろりでしたね。もう100gくらい追加しても全然OKだけど、300gで2000円いかない価格設定が絶妙です。100gで660円追加になるので、ランチとしては300がちょうど良い。ご飯と味噌汁がおかわりできるので、おなかが空いてるひとはどうぞ。USだとハラミよりサーロインがいいかもですね。できればサラダも食べたい。
