目黒雅叙園は、和風の、結婚式等のイベントを得意とするホテル。歴史的なものなのか、他のホテルとは一線を画す。似ているのは八芳園や椿山荘だろうか？ただ、それらよりもう少し規模は小さく、隠れ家っぽい。
こちらは、外の庭園の滝などを見ながらお茶がいただける、開放感溢れるカフェ。周囲には屋内にかかわらず、庭から続く水の流れがあり、たくさんの鯉が優雅に泳いでいる。席もゆったり。今回は昼下がりに軽食で伺った。
クロックマダムは、食パンにたっぷりのチーズに半熟卵を乗せた、古風的なメニュー。サラダは別添え。最近のお洒落カフェのものと比べると、比較的普通な感じ。キャラメルラテもお願いしたが、これはかなり甘い。久しぶりにこんなに甘々なラテを頼んでしまった。
サービスはホテルのもので、大変気持ちよく時間を過ごすことができた。
