肉塊を喰らう、これは人が人たり得るまでに刻まれた遺伝子レベルでの欲求ではないかと私は考えます。
でもそんな大きな肉の塊を喰らえるところなんてない…
いや、あります。ここです。
店内に入れば、肉を喰らう老若男女の姿が眼前に飛び込んできます。
皆、和気藹々と、それでいてストイックに肉塊と向き合い、齧り付いているのです。
店内みなワイルド過ぎて、スギちゃんも怖じ気づくレベルです。
農耕民族であったかつての日本人、いや、狩猟本能が呼び起こされ、人本来の姿がそこにありました。
オニオンベースのソースとバターを掛けては塗り、
ナイフとフォークを扱って、無心で肉を喰らいます。
時にはライスを挟んで、食欲が加速。
最後は、私がやりがちなステーキライス(鉄板の上にライスをぶちこみ、肉汁とその旨味、コーンと和える手法)を掻き込んでフィニッシュ。
