ロケーションは目黒と言うよりも白金の外れと言ったほうがいいかもしれない。しかし住所は品川区だ。目黒駅も品川区で、この辺りは目黒区と港区の間に品川区が食い込んでいる区分けとなっている。近くにあるファミリーマートが港区白金台だから品川区の外れでもある。
さて所見の店のマイルールはメニューのはじめにあるものを注文することだが、こちらではハンバーガーが主流のようである。ハンバーガーはちょっと遠慮して、裏側のメニューの最初にあるグリルドステーキランチ限定5食1,300円を注文した。ドリンクが選べるので、ハンバーガー屋さんということを考えてコーラを注文。ステーキやパテをグリルするときにホールにも油煙が舞うようで、メニューが少し油っぽかったのが気になる。
提供は注文から12分後。こんがりと焼かれたステーキにソースとサラダが添えられている。サラダはアメリカンドレッシングがかかっていて食べやすい。肝心のステーキはやや固め。味は値段からして予想していたが、値段なりの肉の味だ。ご飯も固めで、炊いてから結構時間が経っている感じ。食べられることは食べられる。
ま、この値段のステーキはこんなものだろうというのが感想だ。アメリカンなBGMがかかっているが、コロナ禍のせいか客はみんな黙って食べていた。特に感動はない。
